Mexico baby

Okay, so I know it's been almost a month since we got back from Mexico and have YET to post about this amazing trip...but hey better late than never right?!!

In April of this year we were so fortunate to take a trip with a couple of our best friends, Wes and Mandy. We were able to get in so many things and have so much fun that time seemed to absolutely FLY!

Isn't this a totally cute picture of Wes and Mandy?!! I love it! Wes doesn't look AS thrilled, but we all knew he was loving getting a little smooch from the love of his life!

Check out that arm!!

Wes was READY though and hit the ball with complete confidence!

There were even monkeys at the resort and I could be wrong but I think one may have even "showered" Mandy with his affection as she was walking by!

Here's a cute picture of Mandy and I getting dessert...Fried Ice Cream. It was so yummy that I think we made reservations there 3 separate times! Mandy and I had to work our MAGIC one night and convince the hostess to slip us a little ice cream on the side! :) I think I showed a little cleavage, Mandy may have shown a little leg...but when all was said and done...we got our hard earned fried ice cream! YUMMO!

Two TRULY goofy girls!

Coby and Mandy started playing around with the camera at night and were able to capture all of these awesome shots...see below.

Can you believe that this is taken at night? It totally looks like it's the middle of the day...but check out the full moon! Cool huh!

Who could resist kissing in the dark??!!

There's a cute shot of Mandy and I standing on top of these enormous sand bags. Apparently, the beach is eroding pretty quickly. They have those sand bags up and down the beach as far as the eye can see.

Coby tried to catch us mid jump...it didn't quite work out.

READY...

SET...

GO!!!.....
Mandy's a little more graceful!

On Saturday we took a van to Tulum. Cob and I have been there before, but it was so fun to be able to be with Wes and Mandy. We were able to have a mormon tour guide...Moroni pronounced "Moroney". It WAS AWESOME!!! He told us so many amazing things. One of which was that the Mayans created a calender that has been accurate up to our day and that the last day they have recorded ends on December 21, 2012. 2012? PLEASE let them be accurate! If I only have to wait 3 more years to see my sweet little monkey...I think I could honestly be the definition of ECSTATIC!!! Ecstatic....I don't even think that could accurately describe how happy I'd be!

This was a wall that was built around the entire city. Inside the city was the temple and only a handful of special people were allowed to live inside, mostly royalty those responsible for working in the temple. He told us that if we were to look closely at some of the rocks, we could see imprints of sea animals because it had been under water for so long. He told us that the Lord didn't want the city to be found until the Book of Mormon had been around for a time. 12 years after the book of mormon was translated the city of Tulum was suddenly discovered. It was no longer under water. The explorers found many evidences proving the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon.

Moroni was showing us that many ships came to this island to find treasure, but because of the reef, most of them crashed and became shipwrecked. He was showing us that the Temple was positioned in such a way as to be a light to those trying to enter in. There is only one narrow opening along the reef.

Our little photographer!!

I love the red seven fingered hands. He showed us that when Christ visited the Americas, he choose his disciples and gave them the priesthood by the laying on of hands. If you've ever seen this done and you're mormon you'll notice that the hands in the circle cross over each other looking like 7 fingers. Neat huh?!

Moroni told us the steps that lead into the temple were built very steep and that the doorways were built very small. This was to show reverence. The people used to go up and down the stairs from side to side in a zig zag fashion. When entering they would have to bow in order to get inside. In the picture taken, it shows an upside down engraving of an upside down man. This is to represent Christ, the "descending" God. Inside the temple there is a lookout where light shines through perfectly. It shines on the sping and fall equinox and on April 6th. April 6th you ask? Well, that day has a lot of meaning to us. We believe that it's Christ's birthday, Christ's resurection and the church was officially organized on that day. I know he told us of more, but I can't remember right now.

Here's a shot of Coby and I just outside of the city walls. The Mayans did offer sacrifices. The righteous Nephites offered animal sacrifices, until Christ came and sacrifices were no longer necessary. However, the Lamanites offered up human sacrifices. They were usually women and children. In the Book of Mormon, the Lamanites kidnapped many of women and children of the Nephites. In the Chitzinitza ruins, scientist have found many skeletons of women and children.

After the tour, we couldn't help ourselves but go down and play on the beach for a few. It was so gorgeous!!

Then it was back to the resort. I took pictures and Cob, Wes and Mandy threw the ball around.

Check out that throw!!

And that catch....! NFL...look out, we may have found the hottest, NFL player around! :)

I love this shot of Wes. Mandy certainly has an eye! :)

Just a night another night out with my cute hubby! Isn't he sooo cute??!!!

Look how happy they are!! Soooo in love! :)

Sunday we decided to go to church. It was fast and testimony that week. I thought I'd finally be able to get up and bare my testimony freely to people I didn't know. But there was a line the ENTIRE time. There is usually an awkward silence during most of the fast and testimony meetings I've attended, but these people couldn't wait to get up and bare theirs. What amazing and humble people we were able to see that beautiful Easter Morning. I felt Jack there.

Wes and Mandy got the hang of bartering pretty quickly! It was fun to watch them going back and forth!

Coby showing off his mad skills jumping off a big rock!

I think Coby was trying to get Wes to pose in this one!

The next day we went snorkeling in a cynote. It was fresh water and was a nice change from the salt water. We got to see really cool fish and under the water it was so peaceful and looked like this underground green mossy world. It was breathtaking. I know Mandy was wishing her camera was waterproof. While we were there there was another couple there swimming and having their lunch. After they were in the water we noticed a little duck eating what looked like a tortilla. I thought it was a little odd, but didn't give it too much thought. Until I watch that duck go right into their bag and pull another tortilla out and started munching. That little duck was a little theif...and a piglet! :) It was really funny!

Here's Coby doing a back dive into the water!

Mandy also took the brave plunge! So did Wes, but I don't have any pictures of him...I think I took them with Mandy's camera.

After snorkeling for a bit, we found this really cool cave. Mandy found a cross in there and then the mosquitos found US! So we didn't stick around too much longer.

So we finished up our "business" and headed back home.

Although most of the days were "red" days...we had an absolute blast. On the last day before we left the waves were so strong that they pulled Wes and I into the water. It literally sucked us in. The waves had created this sort of sink hole. It was pretty scary. The was were so strong that they would knock me down just when I caught my breath, another wave would be back to bring me down again. I didn't stay in very long that day. But it sure was fun. All I could think about was how much my dad would ahve LOVED these waves! :)

Look at that stud of a husband I have!!?? I tried my best to talk him OUT of bringing that awful thing! But to no avail and to some gooding hiding spots, the speedo ended up making the journey! Don't be suprised if you don't ever find it again sweetheart! :) Not that I would have anything to do with it's disappearance....but if it happened to get lost....

This was how Mandy and I loved to spend our days. Lounging and chatting! And then we'd talk some more...did I mention that we NEVER ran out of things to say??!!

This was our last day there. :(

One last kiss!

We had such a blast. At first I was a little reluctant about going to Mexico considering that I'd be 7 months PREGNANT! I can honestly say that I've never had so many people come and touch my belly! :)

I am so happy that we got to get to know the Archibalds better. We had so much fun and look forward to many more trips! :) Lanae, Camille, Bettie, Whit and Amay you better be on board next time!!! :)

Happy Birthday Rhondala...aka Ambie

Happy Birthday to my beautiful, selfless and amazing sister Amber! Isn't she gorgeous??!!! She is currently finishing up her bachelors degree at MSU and living in East Lansing. I would give anything to have her live HERE RIGHT NOW!!! I am 5 years older than her. Infact when she was a baby I used to run to her when I got into trouble...which was often. She's loved me despite the fact that I blamed things on her...(Walmart)...YOU know what I'm talking about!! :) And then the time I decided to see how hot the spatula was while cooking a grilled cheese sandwich. I know, I'M ROTTEN!! She loves mayo and has the cutest feet I've ever seen. She has a great sense of fashion and will happily give up whatever she has to help another person out. She sent me all of her awesome Aldo shoes before we went to Mexico...(Post STILL coming ....I PROMISE). She loves her family and always puts us first before any other thing. She was reluctant to love Coby at first because she was looking out for my best interest. Who could blame her...Coby and I knew each other a whopping 100 days from the time we met to the time we said "Yes" in the Salt Lake Temple! But they have a GREAT relationship now! She calls him "Cheese" and he calls her "Spam". She plays with Corbin and Corbin absolutely ADORES her. He's even said that the top bunk of his bed is just for "Ambie". I'm so glad that she got to know Jack and see what a perfect little boy he was and now really is.

I love you Wondala! I hope that you have a GREAT birthday! We miss you and wish that you were here so we could spoil you!

Love,
Toni, Cheese, CorbiMac and Jackie Joo and the embryo...who's now more like a monkey swinging from my ribs! :)

Happy Birthday Amay Dear!

Happy Happy Happy Happy Birthday to Amy...she's turning 25! I can't say enough about this girl. She was one of my first roomates and taught me to LOVE mexican food and tried her hardest to teach me to clean up after myself. She taught me the value of a bargain and the difference between being frugle and just plain cheap. I love that she's a convert to the church. She joined in High School and then saved her money and went to Honduras and served an honorable mission. There she learned to just swat ginormous bugs as they ran across her face in the middle of the night and was able to just go back to sleep as well as wash her clothes on rocks. She is responsible for introducing me to the best breadsticks EVER invented!

She is hillarious and not afraid of confrontation. I love that she doesn't LOVE casseroles like most Mormons do and that she REFUSES say things like "Oh My HECK!" When Jack passed she didn't give up on me NOT returning calls. She sent so many thoughtful letters and gifts and always takes the time to tell me she's proud of the way we've been handling things. She has a GORGEOUS smile and I'd give anything to have her live closer to me! Happy Birthday Ames! I love ya!

Happy Birthday Mandy!!!

Happy Happy Birthday Mandy! Happy Birthday to the most darling, loveable, genuine, creative....girl! I am so happy that I have gotten to know her. I really got a chance to get to know her on our trip to Mexico (post soon to come). We talked...and talked....and just when we thought we'd run out of things to say...we'd start talking about something else. From the movie Best In Show..."We could talk or not talk for hours and STILL find nothing to talk about!" I love this girl. I love how she reminds me of my baby sister Amber by just BUSTING out in song and singing Beyonce! She's the one responsible for our favorite pictures of Jack. She took such priceless pictures only weeks before we lost him. I will treasure them forever. She's so fun and I feel so grateful to have her in my life! Love you girl!!

Kids say the darndest things...

It's funny what a 3 year can come up with and say LOUDLY in a public restroom. Yesterday we drove from SLC to Vegas. I really needed to go potty and after a couple minutes of convincing...so did he. He went first and then it was my turn. As I'm squatting (working my quads... :) ), Corbin was waiting behind me to finish so he could flush the toilet. When all of a sudden he says, rather LOUDLY mind you...."Mommy, you have a really BIG butt!" I couldn't help but bust out laughing. So...according to Corbin, everyone in the Hilton Vacations Club Resort bathroom, know of the JUNK that IS my TRUNK!!

A little clarity

I feel the need to give you all just a little clarity! My April Fools Joke didn't really "fool" as much as "confuse" you guys. Sorry! SO....Here it is....We really are having a little boy. And so far he's just as busy has his brothers. I'm not sure if he's practicing the breast stroke or the butterfly...but at any rate...he NEVER STOPS. Corbin and Jackie never seem to sit still for 1 minute. As we speak Corbin is upstairs with his Peter Pan costume pretending Jasmine (our doggy) is "Cap'n" (Captain Hook). She's not thrilled!! I'm sure that Jack is still running around up there busy as ever. I certainly wish he'd come and pay me a little visit though. I miss him so much. Maybe I'm a little more emotional today because I have the flu with a cold on top of the flu...which I've had for the past two weeks!!!?? Maybe it's because I'm pregnant? Or a combo of both!! Or maybe just maybe it's because I wish I had more time with him. 16 Months just wasn't long enough. But I guess no amount of time would ever be adequate if I knew he'd have to go before me. I look at that little face and can't help but breakdown for a few minutes. I just long for his sweet hugs and sloppy kisses. I miss how he'd laugh and throw his head back. Oh, I could go on and on.....wish he was here.
I just love my boys...Coby included.

Who is right??

As of today I am officially 26 weeks prego. How many months along does that mean I actually am? Coby says 5.5. I say 6.5. We both won't back down on this one until one of us is proven wrong. I'm hoping that you will help us settle this debate. I can admit when I'm wrong. Coby rarely IS wrong. He's only been WRONG like 4 times in our whole marriage, meaning that I've been RIGHT those 4 meager times. So I'm coming to you "oh wise ones" to help us solve this once and for all!

Divine Intervention or did I just put my foot in my mouth???

A couple of weeks ago our cute Bishop came to our house and extended a call for me to serve as 2nd counselor in the YW. I was thrilled, scared, and sad because my sweet Camille would no longer there. Many of you know that I love to tease. So, this Sunday was no exception. As our Bishop was leaving he asked Coby how he was enjoying his calling as Sunday School Teacher to the 16 -18 year olds. He said he really liked it and THEN...I just HAD to chime in and say...."Yes, he does LOVE it, however, he told me that his dream calling would be that of Elder's Quorum President." Then I smiled and the Bishop gave this cute, yet awkard little chuckle. Coby looked at me like...."you better PRAY to the God of Pregnant Wives that his little "chuckle" doesn't come to fruition." Honestly, what are the chances???

The next Sunday as we sustained all the new callings, Coby pointed out to me that they had just released the Elder's Quorum Pres and gave me the "Look". Now, I'm sure all of you have seen the "look" at various times in your lives. At any rate after Sacrament they set me apart and then our darling Stake President looks at Coby and says, "Do you think you have time to meet with with me for a few minutes right now?" Again....the "LOOK" was directed my way!!! I couldn't help but laugh....because let's be honest...what are the chances????

I know I actually didn't have anything to do with this calling being extended to Coby but he seems hellbent on letting me know that I will be helping him with this calling. He has to meet with at least 72 members of the quorum every quarter and has said that I better get a wiggle on because not only will be also be making TREATS for every one of them, but I'll also get to tag along too!

So, moral of the story is... Be careful what you say to your Bishop....because you never know what the next Sunday will bring! :)

What I'd give

What I'd give to be able to go back and see this little face, to touch those little hands and to kiss those cute cheeks. I wish I could go back into the memories of my mind and actually relive some of them and be able to permanently delete others. Lately I've been missing Jack more than usual. It's been pretty bad the past few days. I try to stay positive because I know that Jack wouldn't want me to be so sad. And most days I can deal with our situation. But every now and then I get a wicked reality check and am hit with the realization that he's gone. He's really gone and there is nothing anyone can do change that. It's times like those that I can't seem to pull it together. I can't stop the tears or seem to snap out of that hopeless aching feeling that he's no longer running around getting into mischief. Oh what I'd give to have him get into some mischief right now. Oh, why did this have to happen? I know the reason, but it doesn't relieve one ounce of this pain. I'm not angry at the Lord or even at our situation. I'm just sad. And I don't want to be the kind of person that is so depressing that it emotionally drains anyone they come in contact with. I'm trying to put on my best face and find joy in the journey. I know that this life is full of both joy and sorrow, and that if I could just see the big picture that this probably wouldn't be as bad as I think it is. That it's only but a second of time in the grand scheme of things. I know that the Lord would never give us more than we can handle, but sometimes I wonder if He has more faith in me than I have in myself. Tomorrow will be a better day. Today, I just miss him.

A Valentine's treat

This Valentine's was really a treat. Coby took me to La Caille Friday night. My mom took Corbin over night. It was such a perfect night. I ordered shrimp cocktail, then came the wilted spinach salad...(delightful), followed by a "lightly breaded" chicken entree with spinach, roasted red potatoes in this cream sauce....(words can NOT describe the explosion of taste that proceeded that night!!) Then it was on to dessert. Coby and I split the trio consisting of chocolate cake, creme brulee and some sort of perfect little french beneigts dipped in custard. It just kept getting better and better! I'm sure that I ate my fair share of calories for the night....what am I talking about....the MONTH. But it was SOOOO worth it!! Good thing I'm still working out because this could have been detrimental to ALL parts of my ever expanding bod. So, goodbye little grey dress! I'll miss you!

It was so fun to spend time with Coby and go out on such a romantic date. He's so incredibly amazing that I still sometimes dream that he was just a "dream" and too good to be true. I've often told people that he had everything on my "wish" list for the man I married...but he has so many more awesome attributes that I don't think I could even come close to naming them all. I love you babe! I love that we are best friends and you stand by my side through everything. We've been through a few rough months, but have grown closer that I ever could have imagined. I am so grateful that we are an eternal family! You are still my "monster" and love you more than words could ever describe!

What are little boys made of...?

So, I couldn't be more thrilled about having another little boy join our family....until I realized that they are going to one day grow up and be like this.....

That's right folks...you ARE seeing my husband exploding from the mouth and NOSE for that matter all over my back splash! Fun times...fun times!!!

So, I'm thinking it may be in my best interest to start praying for little girls now....that or get a tichy more home owners insurance for the future.

***Seriously.....PRAY for my sanity!!!***

Hi, it's Coby.

So the purpose of this post is two-fold. First, I really haven't posted since I handed the blog reigns over to Tiff last year, so I figured I've been a slacker long enough. Second, I am in the middle of testing a new product from my company and I needed to see if it worked inside of blogger. So if you see video in this post then I was successful. If you don't see video then I will never publish this post and therefore you'll never read it, so typing and reading that last sentence was a was a waste of everyone's time. Anyway I just wanted to throw up a few pics and vids of our recent jaunt down to St. George. So, enjoy!

The First full day down there we all went the the Sand Hollow pool and spent hours getting pruney.

Saturday the girls spend the morning out shopping while the boys watched the kids. This was a particularly useful tactic because soon we would be out golfing in the sun.

Wade was particularly fond of the "hand wedge' when playing from the red rock.

Later that evening in the attempt to remain young at heart we (the boys) decided that it would be a good idea to go jump in the 40 degree swimming pool. I would later find out that our girlish screams were the highlight of all who were watching from the warmth of the house.

Anyway, it was a fun little getaway from the inversion of the valley. I know I'm no Tiff when it comes to writing, but thanks for reading. By the way how great does that video look? Go us!

P.S. Don't worry. I'll put the sidebar back on soon.

Drum Roll Please....

Coby and I are so excited to announce that we are having....
ANOTHER baby boy! I have had so much fun with Corbin and Jack (for the most part) that I truly longed for another little "blue" baby as Corbin calls him. (Blue for boy) Coby and I KNOW that we do have a little girl up there and have been shocked ALL 3 times that our "apple" has a stem! :) I used to have a theory that the Lord would just keep giving us boys until he wanted our family to be complete and then finally give us our little girl. SO in theory we could have like 6 boys and then when we'd given up....OOOPS a little "pink" baby would grace us with her presence. Don't get me wrong I'm NOT complaining. I love little boys. I mean, honestly have you EVER seen Corbin's hair fixed or JACK's for that matter? The answer is a big fat giant NO!! I mean can you imagine if we had a girl....it would be scary to say the least! :)

On a more serious note I feel so blessed to be pregant with this perfect little boy right now. I miss Jack every second of the day. But I try my hardest to try and find the good every single day because I know that that is what Jack would want. I read this quote today in a book called "Life Everlasting" by Duane Cowther. He tells of an experience where this woman had been in a near fatal accident. It was truly a miracle that she survived. As she was saying her prayers and giving thanks she said that she heard a voice that said, "It doesn't matter the trials you are faced with. It's how you choose to accept them. THAT's the real test." It's hard every single day, but in the end, I want the Lord to say..."Good job Tif and Cob, you not only passed the test, but you you did a good job." I want to live in such a way that I'll get to be with my husband and ALL my children without question. That's why I feel so blessed despite our current circumstances. We have everything we need in order to be with Jack again. We are an eternal family. I love Coby and my boys....ALL 3 of them.
I feel so blessed to have the knowledge of the gospel to be surrounded by the most amazing family and friends imaginable. So many of you continue to keep us in your prayers and we want you to know that we feel strengthened every single day because of you. So thank you! Look for the good in every situation and you will find it. I know it helps me.

Happy Birthday Camille

Happy Happy Birthday Camilllllle Dear....happy days will come to you all year..."

I just wanted to wish my sweet Camille a very happy birthday today. She is so dear to my heart. She is very selfless and always so giving of her time and energy. She has so many talents...and I am so happy that I get to sometimes be on the receiving end of some of them. :) She is a doer and makes me want to try to be a better person. She is one of the most amazing people I've ever had the privilege of knowing. I am grateful every single day that she is in my life! I don't know what I'd do without her. I Just LOVE you girl! :) Hope you have a GREAT birthday!

Washington DC

Just a little squeeze in front of the Lincoln Memorial.

Washington Monument

Jefferson Memorial

Going to all the Jefferson Memorial was really cool. It was so amazing to me that our country was so blessed and most choice because it was reared by god fearing men. It makes me sad to see that so much has changed since those times long ago. Our country is so obsessed with making sure that EVERYTHING is! so politically correct in an attempt to not "offend" someone. I am grateful for the many advancements made by our country...but I wish our morals and values once held sacred by so many didn't have to suffer. Just another sign of the times I guess.

The Hope Diamond.

I tried convincing Coby that I needed this...and got an astounding...absolutely NOT! The NERVE!!!!

Dorothy's Ruby Red Slippers!

Oscar the Grouch
Coby seems to think that I found my "twin" in this picture!!

The Capital Building at night.

About 6 weeks ago...(I know I'm a little behind) Coby took me on a trip to Washington DC. It was sooo awesome. He was there on business. Washington DC is truly amazing. It's almost overwheming at the amount of history that is there. I wished that we could have spend as much time as we wanted exploring all of the MANY museums there. We went to the Air and Space Museum, National Gallery of Art. I wished I would have taken a picture of this, but there was this really disturbing painting of this man about to be eaten by a shark. Creepy! Then we went to the Musem of Natural History, American Heritage Museum, the Holocaust Museum. The Holocaust was truly awesome. Somewhat of a downer but very very well done. It was so organized. Oh, how I wished I could have stayed longer. Best of all, everything was FREE!!!! I love to spend a week or so there and really take in all the sights. It was amazing. Thanks baby!

Jack's very own Christmas Tree

I couldn't find the good picture of Jack's head stone...but this will have to do for now. We put a little soccer ball and a little lamb ( I used to call him "Lammy") Originally we were told that we were looking at it taking up to 12 weeks and then if the ground was frozen...we'd have to wait even longer. We were so happy when we found out that Jack's name plate would be in before Thanksgiving. I was just another little blessing from the Lord! :)

This year Joanne suggested that we should decorate a little Christmas Tree just for Jackie. We invited our families from both sides to help. Everyone brought an ornament to hang on the tree. I turned out so beautiful.

After we were finished decorating we sang "Silent Night". I lost it especially when we sang the part about "Holy Infant so tender and mild...sleep in heavenly peace...sleep in heavenly peace." I miss him...so much. Not a second goes by when I'm not thinking about him and missing him. I know he fulfilled his mission here on Earth but it just doesn't make it hurt any less. I am so grateful though that I had the chance to know him and love him and be his mom. I know he watched over our family and I feel him close all the time. I try to be positive about our situation because it feels better than the alternative...but I still have breakdowns. Sometimes they aren't too bad...and other times they are gut renchingly painful. I had such a night a few weeks ago. I was so distraught, it was almost like I was back at the beginning. I couldn't even speak without gasping for air. That night I tried with all my might to try and see Jack in my mind by my faith. It didn't end up happening, but I was able to feel him so close almost like he was touching the back of my neck with his hand. He was there, I know it. I just wish I could see him. I know that that would probably just make it harder...but I just miss him so much. The next morning I think he came again to say good morning. And tell him that he was still there. Jack had these little kissing monkeys in his room (they are still there). You pull them apart and they say..."Kiss me!". We that next morning I went to the gym early and when I got back noticed that Corbin had crawled in bed with Coby, so I crawled back into Corbin's bed. I was all alone and heard those monkey's go off...."Kiss Me!". Then it happened again..and again. Those monkey's went off 6 different times before I jumped up and ran into Jack's room. When I got there they went off again. I scanned the room hoping that my prayer would be answered and I'd get to see my baby. I said, "Jack...I know you're here....make the monkey's go off again if you're really here...." So OF COURSE they didn't go off. Typical Jack....Never wanting to perform just because I asked him to! :) That little stinker!!

Coby was there that horrible night and helped me through it. He's such a trooper and doesn't get the credit he deserves. He's so strong for our family and without him I don't know what I'd do...probably not get out of bed. He's my rock and I love him more than anything. It's because of him that I had Jack in the first place. And it's because of him Jack is sealed to us forever and because of that I'll get to see Jack again. What a blessing!

It's official....

I know this isn't the GREATEST picture of Corbin...or anyone else for that matter...but it was a picture that showed Corbin wearing his "big boy" underwear. Scooby dooby dooooo....displayed in all it's glory! :) I am so proud of him. I seriously tried EVERYTHING...and nothing seemed to work. Then one Monday (the day before Cob and I left for DC) I let him run around all day with OUT a diaper. He was pretty good and didn't have any accidents. Joanne (Coby's mom) kept telling us that Corbin was ready and that we needed to just start having him wear his underwear and that he'd just learn. SO...that's exactly what we did. We tried it out for about a day...then gave him to Joanne to finish the training. I'm not sure she was terribly excited about that...but hey...she asked for it! AND we delivered!! :) In a nutshell, he has a few accidents every now and then but he's 99.9% officially potty trained! My little boy is growing up...and this part I don't mind! :)

SO, if you're looking for a certified official potty trainer...drop your kids off at Joanne's. Don't tell her where you got her name from...but tell her she came HIGHLY recommended! :)

***NOTE*** I may be in the dog house! :)

Christmas Fondue

Here is a picture of some of our best friends we made while living in MI. Mandy made this great spread of cheese and fancy chocolate fondue! We had a little trouble with the fondue cooperating...but all in all it turned out to be a GREAT night! Then we a white elephant party. I'm pretty sure that Mandy got the best present and most creative white elephant out there...it was a "shave your legs Barbie" I wished I would have taken a picture!!! It was so gross. Barbie had hairy legs and armpits and came with a disposable razor. Gross....but hilarious! Then Lance and Bettie gave us all these totally awesome shirts that say..."I love Rupert"...in leiu of Lance winning Prosecuting Attorney of Rupert County, ID. I love them! I wear mine all the time.

We had so much fun! We love you guys and are so grateful that we have managed to stay in touch and stay close. We are so looking forward to many many more adventures with you all! LOVES!!!
