Sommy's Final Bridal Fitting

Isn't she GORGEOUS!!  I love her dress!  She looks amazing in it!  Here she is trying on a birdcage veil.  At first I told her to save herself a little dough and we could run to Wendy's to pick up one of their hairnets.  She wasn't amused!!  But I have to admit...she can pull it off SO eloquently!!

Don't you LOVE these sweet sassy shoes Som picked for her dress!  I don't think Corb could even wear them since they are a size 5.5!!  CRAZY!

While we were there there was a HUGE glass jar of cinnamon bears.  Amber LOVES cinnamon bears...so I think I ate like 25 of them....for her benefit of COURSE!!  We were sure missing her with us!

Here is a shot of the three of us.  She's STUNNING!!!  Drew is definitely one lucky guy!

St. George and Honey's Birthday

We went down to St. George for the Honey's Birthday weekend.  It was pretty crappy weather...but did end up turning nice by the end of the trip...OF COURSE!!

Corb has always been our little explorer!  He couldn't wait for the rain to stop so he could resume his lizard hunting from last trip!!

It was a little windy!!

One night after dinner everyone went on a hike.  I am always amazed at Whitney and her courageousness!  She's about 9 mos prego with 3 active kidlings and she chose to brave the "storm" so to speak without her Benny!  Kudos to you girl!!

Here's a cute shot of Jades playing on the stairs.  We were playing peek a boo!  It was a hoot!

Poppy came up Friday night and jumped right into playing with all the little monkeys!  I think Lu was loving it!

For Joanne's birthday we went to dinner at the Pizza Factory.  It was so tasty!

Jades was a bit (A LOT A BIT) of a PILL!  But the ENORMOUS breadstick seemed to calm him down for a minute or two!

Livvy Lou was cool with a pretzel!

Isn't this cake so awesome??!!  Marse came prepared in birthday STYLE!!

Honey is always nice enough to share the blowing of the candles out.  Happy Birthday Joanne!  We sure do love you!  Thank you so much for always being so fun and kind.  I know that I never try to trick you...oh wait...maybe I'm CONSTANTLY trying to trick you!  I wouldn't try to bother you so much if I didn't love ya!!  AT any rate...Happy Birthday!  So are you 23 or 24?  I couldn't remember??!!

Even Jadesy decided to get in the "boy" action and take up a round of putting!

Liv was LOVING the sand!

HOLY FLEXIBLE!!!

There's our dancer girl!

And our crazy air surfer!!  Monkey see....

Little Monkey...DO!!!

Jadesy had a ball running down the sandy hills!

 And falling too!

Charlie's Angels...WATCH OUT!!

This was my favorite though!  I think our faces explain it all!

I LOVE this shot of the boys playing frizbee together!

Ready....

Aim....

  Fire!!!

We had such a ball.  Wish Whit could have stayed a little longer to play in the sunshine!  Thanks Honey and Poppy, Lance and Marse for sharing the weekend with us!  It's so nice that we all get along so well.  I consider myself quite lucky to be married into such an AMAZING family!!  Love you guys!

Best buddies or twins...I can't decide

I am so excited that these two cute little cousins are getting to be such good little buddies.

Kayden:  "Give me a little smooch...we're family!!"
Jades:  "Uhh......is this PC?"

There they go...UP the slide instead of DOWN!!

And back DOWN they go!!

Kiss Kiss!!

Maybe Lanae and I are cruel...but they are sooo cute and are still willing to GIVE kisses!  We HAVE to take advantage of it!  PLUS...who knows when we'll need some GOOD blackmail pictures in the future!!  :)

Burger King Playdate

Corb and his little buddy Bryson are just about inseperable these days!  Bryson lives across the street and they are in the same class in Kindergarten.

The day the kids got out of school for Spring Break I decided to meet Lanae at Burger King and have a little play date.  Both her older boys were in school, she was flying solo with her little Kader bug.

Jades had a ball trying to "be" one of the BIG kids!

Kerstin comes for a visit

My GORGEOUS friend Kerstin and her BEAUTIFUL little girl Joelle came to SLC for a little visit.  We were super excited that we were able to catch up for a few while they were here.  We went to lunch at Paradise Bakery.  While we were eating, Jaden tried to annoy everyone there by pushing the little high chairs around making LOUD screeching sounds!  NICE....I got some "looks" and after I got a few looks of disgust from one middle aged man who obviously has NEVER been around kids...especially kids in UT...I decided to let Jaden run wild!  That's right...I'm THAT mom!

After lunch we decided to try our luck in World Market.  The kids had a ball and I got a few minutes longer with this CUTE ADORABLE girl!  I really wished she lived closer!  I had such fun memories of her while roommates in Provo.

Isn't this little girl GORGEOUS?!!!  She definitely has some cute parents!!

LOVE this girl and her little girl!!

Moab 1/2 Marathon with my Little

Back in January of this year, my cute cousin, Lanae and my Melanie thought we should all run the Moab 1/2 in March.

Here I am "improving" my bib number.

Here we are HAPPY to be running!!

Lanae found someone else who was also having a good time...and HAPPY to be running the race today!

Here is everyone at the start of the race.

It was SUCH an amazingly BEAUTIFUL day!  I think the start of the race was near 60 degrees.  PERFECT running weather.  And what could be more perfect than running with your best friend from before I could even remember?  NEVER running out of things to say....EVER?  And having the view of the most gorgeous canyon I've ever had the privlege of running?  Well, NOTHING of course!!  Until....mile 9 that is!!

First of all...don't you love how I look like I fell off the side of one of the cliffs in the canyon and Lanae looks like she is about to head out on a date??!!!

My back started killing me at mile 9.  My legs felt great.  No horrible "stomach" thing a-churning in my stomach.  I had great songs...and and even BETTER partner in crime to make the time really fly by....but by mile 9 I thought I was dying.  My back felt like had suddenly developed a bad kidney infection or had suddenly developed "back labor".  Lanae was MORE than a trooper.  Lanae would walk with me....literally kneel on my back to try and loosen it....3.seperate.times!!  And added about 30 minutes onto her time...FOR ME!  OH I love this girl of mine!!  Thanks Little!!  I definitely COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!!  You are my saving grace!!  And here's the thing...as awful as my back hurt (It hurt so bad that if I could have run away from myself...I WOULD HAVE)  I'd do it again with her!  Love ya girl!
***On a side note*** if you ever want to go somewhere and want to get something FREE...take LANAE!  She can get about anything for free without even asking!  We went to this pasta restaurant (EVERYONE IN MOAB was there) at any rate, we wanted to get a gift certificate for my cute bishop that was generously letting us stay with him.  We walked in and went to the back where the registers were along with the kitchen.  I think a manager comes out and gets a glimpse of this pretty girl.  He asks us if we've been helped and I say, "Yes...but if you wanted to give us a bread basket, we definitely wouldn't turn it down."  He never once looks at me....because he's STARING at Lanae.  2 minutes later he's back with a hot basket of garlic bread and offers of red wine...on the house."  Ahhhh...the days of freebies with Lanae!  :)

**Mel would have DEFINITELY been there...but her cute little Zoe had a dance competition.  And if she even tried to run...I think we would have had to run her over instead!!  :)  Next year Mel...if I'm not prego!  :)  OR...we could just go on a girls trip and run a 5 mile race and call it good.  You in??!!  :)

Happy GREEN day!

Today was St. Patrick's Day...aka WEAR LOTS AND LOTS OF GREEN day!  I decided to dye all of our food green today.

Notice the GREEN milk, the scrambled eggs and even the pancakes were green.

It was sooo fun to watch his expression and excitement as Coby would "Magically" turn everything green! Corb was so cute!  Coby "magically" was able to say a spell that changed everything green

Joanne...I mean the St. Patrick's Day Leprechaun even left Corb a little treat outside in the yard.  Corb was pretty excited!

Later that day we headed over to Lanae's house for an official St. Patty's Day part as only Lanae could throw!   We got there a little late...but still in time to go on a little Leprechaun hunt.

Lanae had everything from face painting, decorating cookies to cupcakes with QUARTERS in them!  I must say...the cupcakes were a BIG BIG hit!  (**disclaimer**  Lanae sterilized every quarter and wrapped them all in foil before baking them so they were clean**)

Both these boys had a BALL!  ....uh...is that frosting on your face??  YA...actually it is...A LOT of frosting!

LOVE this girl!  She definitely wins the FUNNEST MOM AWARD!!!
