Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of JULY!!!

This year we headed up to N. Salt Lake to spend the 4th of July with most of the Pattersons.  Here is a shot of all the kidlings before the fireworks started.

We pitched our blankets and settled in for a fun 15 minutes of fireworks!  :)

Jadesy sat on my lap most of the time and LOVED watching them go off, except he didn't so much LOVE the big bangs!  Corb on the other hand loved all the noise and oo'd and awed over each firework.

North Salt Lake puts on a pretty good show.  But I still say the best fireworks show we've been to was in Bountiful over the 24th of July in Coby's mom's cousin's backyard.  The fireworks were practically over our heads.  It was AWESOME!!

The next day we packed up and headed up to Bear Lake for the rest of the week/weekend.

 

We love it here!  Bear Lake is a little piece of heaven right here on Earth.

 

The boys can't get enough of the Lake, the sun, the sand, the cousin time, LOADS of yummy snacks, and FUN FUN FUN!  I think Jack even makes his appearance fairly frequently.  (see the sun spots...I always like to think it's Jack...)

 

But usually after a whole weekend of this much fun...we're all so tired we can hardly stand!
