A boy after my own heart!

This baby is a baby after my own heart!  What is he doing..well, he's MOPPING of course!!  LOVE HIM!!!  I'm not sure, but I think Jack may have told him that if he wanted to really get into my heart, all he needed to do was help me clean.  I still remember when Jack as here, he had just woken up from a nap.  Corbin had a sippy cup of water that was leaking out by the back door.  I noticed it and must have made a comment about the water making a mess.  What did Jack do, well, he promptly went to the stove, grabbed the dish towel hanging there and promptly walked over the to spill and just wiped it up!!  LOVE that baby!!  Love all THREE!!

Marse is ALWAYS so thoughtful in putting together special events.  Since Honey and Poppy where going to Hawaii this week and weren't going to be around for their 35th Wedding Anniversary, Marse arranged for a little bowling party.  I wish I would have taken a picture, but she made all these YUMMY little carrot cake cupcakes with little flags that spelled out "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY".

It's always a treat to get together with both our families.  I'm not sure how we managed to NOT get any of Ben and Whit and their other little critters....but they were there too!  And we had a BALL! But with a family like this...how could you NOT!!

Sommer's Drew...aka Mr. Right, I mean WRIGHT was in town and so we thought we should give him a little dose of what he was "getting into" before he "got into it...officially" that is!  Som wanted to have a game/homemade pizza Night.  Aren't they SO cute together??!!!  

Corb was proud of his "smiley" face pizza...although, I think he may have been a little more interested in the Root Beer out of the bottle!

 What...that's not a FORCED smile??!!  He's just a happy kid...I don't know what you mean!!

We borrowed Super Mario Wii from Marse.  This is the FUNNEST game EVER!  You can play up to four people at the SAME time!  It is seriously a RIOT!  Even if you don't like video games, this one is WAY easy to get into!

A trip to the Aquarium with Little

Today we went to the Aquarium!  IT WAS A BLAST...as usual!  Any time spent with my Little is always a BLAST!  Sometimes I think we have playdates for US...not the kids!!

We were trying to pet the Sting Rays.  I tried to roll Jaden's sleeve up enough, but the water was still just a little too deep.  Maybe next time buddy!

The Penguin exhibit is new to the Aquarium.  These little penguins were super cute and SUPER fast!  We had the hardest time trying to get them jumping into the water in a picture.  Oh, well...here the kids are mesmerized!

A couple of Bros

These little boys are simply two peas in a pod!  Jades, like Jack LOVES to do everything that their big brother does!  Jades is playing with Coby's I-Phone and Corb is playing with his I-pad.  What a world we live in!!  :)  BUT, I am so happy to see them starting to become great friends.  I certainly wish there were three little boys sitting on that couch though! 

Welcome to our SICK home!!

We have been sick in this house for almost the past two weeks.  Momma Jo is always asking me if we have mold....NO we don't have mold...but we certainly do keep getting sick!!  It all started last Thursday when I when Jades and I went to the gym.  They came and got me after about 45 mins to change his cute but stinky little bum.  When I got to him he was so sad.  I changed him and noticed that he was a little warm.  Coby was out of town until late that night.  Poor little Jadesy.  He was SOOOOO clingy all day, and when I say clingy I mean that his head was CONSTANTLY on my shoulder.  And I have to admit, I like it...no I LOVED every second of the cuddling!  Wish it could have been under better circumstances, but I wish I could have him stay this cuddly forever!  He's by far my snuggliest baby!  When his fever didn't break, despite the alternating of motrin and tylenol...I decided to take him in to the Dr.  The results were quick....Sinus infection and Ear infection.  OF COURSE!!  I think "ear infection" is permanently written on Jack and Jaden's chart!  They are probably immuned to amoxicillion!  NICE!!  But after a couple of days, he was on the mend and not as snuggly.  :(

So, what do you do when you're sick besides take lots of good drugs!!  

Well, you bust out the board games of course!!  Remember Aggravation??!!  I remember playing this with my sisters at my Grandma Bower's house when I was little!  I LOVE this game!!

But apparently I'm NOT as good as I remember!!  Corb TOTALLY KICKED MY TRASH!!  ALL ON HIS OWN!!

LITTLE STINKER!!  He plays once and totally WINS??!! He also won at SLAP Jack, Chutes and Ladders and Jenga!!  I don't want to say that I was a LOSER...but man he beat me every single time!!

All in good fun!  Looks like the victory helped to cure him of a bug or two! 

Everyone is better including myself THANK GOODNESS!  No FUN being sick when you are the one who has to take care of everyone!  My friend Angie asked me if I remembered taking the "oath" when I first had children.  "oath" you wonder...well that's the vow you take to NEVER GET ANOTHER SICK DAY AS LONG AS YOU LIVE!!  Apparently, I was on drugs when that vow was made!!  :)

A Trip to St. George

Last week we had the opportunity to come down to St. George for the weekend.  We came up a day early with Lance and Marse.  Jim and Jo came down later that day with Sammi and Mason. By the time they got there her voice was completely GONE!  :)  It was very cute!  Then Ben and Whit and little Lu came late that night. There was SNOW covering the beautiful orange mountains.  But the weather was GORGEOUS and so much warmer than Salt Lake.  I was even able to go on a six mile jog that first morning.  Then we were off to Pirate Island Pizza.

Jadesy wasn't quite sure what to do with the ski ball game.  He thought it would be more efficient to just get up IN the game for a better score!  He's brilliant I tell ya...just BRILLIANT!!

 

Marse was really good at this lizard licking farting game!  It would make all these gross farting sounds when the game was over.  It was way fun!  Probably my favorite there.  But Marse usually beat me by like DOUBLE or TRIPLE what I got!

Corbin LOVES playing outside.  Everytime we come to St. George his always looking for Lizards.  And he usually finds someone to go "lizard hunting" with him.  The first day we were there Lance was his choice of hunting partners.  Poor Lance!  But as soon as Sammi and Mason got there he did a little recruiting!
