Girl's BOOT CAMP 2011

Welcome to our "Boot Camp" themed Girls Camp of 2011

Here are a few of the leaders.  Don't you just love our fun GREEN shirts?!!

My secret sister (Angie) knows that I love GREEN, so she gave me this fun crazy green nail polish.  And so me, Kellie and Ang felt the need to "represent" our GREEN and painted our nails!**  NOTE:  Apparently it doesn't come off very well....after you take it off it, it leaves an ugly green tint!  :)

This was my partner in crime!!  And also my twin.  The amount of things we have in common is uncanny!  :)  She's my  sista from another mista!

The leaders all took a little walk down to a tiny little pond with canoes and a paddle boat.  Ashley, Amy and Ang were pros at getting the canoe all around the pond.

Here's Kellie and I.  trying to maneuver this paddle boat.  It was a little harder then we thought!  A spider totally crawled on me and I may have freaked out a little!!

Ashley and Steph also made it look easy

And then Kellie and I ventured out in a canoe.....

It was a LOT harder than it looked!!  We kept getting suck in the weeds...the GILLY WEEDS!  But Kelly was a trooper and lead us back to shore safely.

Leave it to the cutest prego (Kari) and Kellie to pull the canoe out of the water.  It was fun being pulled out of the water...but I have to admit, I was not expecting it to be so fast.  It was sort of like a little ride!

We all went on an AMAZING hike with the girls.  There was a lot of "What if I die..." comments!  But I'm happy to say, that we all did it safely.  It was so fun.  I would rather go hiking than running any day!

Then the girls did their skits.  Each was unique and all were slap happy funny and stomach stitch worthy.  I'm not sure what the names of the skits were, but in this one they made up TONS of Churchy songs to the tune of Justin Beiber.  SO FUNNY!

These cute girls did a skit based on the movie "UP".  They were all so funny.  Tristin was the old man and I couldn't stop laughing as she walked around with that cane.

These darling girls did their skit based on Finding Nemo.  They acted everything out using little puppets.  It was hilarious!  And then at the end they had a Book Of Mormon and little segals chasing it saying, "Mine...mine...mine..."  Very fun!

Here are ALL of of amazing girls!

Here's me looking HOT after 3 days of camping.  The girls had given me the "Little Chihuahua" award.  Let me explain.  The night before the girls were being so noisy in their tents.  I was tired so I decided to YELL at them to be quiet.  The  They were quiet for one second and then Haley said, "Or WHAT......It's just Tiff."  So, they said that I have "little dog" syndrome.  This is a syndrome where the "little" dog thinks he is ferocious...but no one is scared of his ENORMOUS little bark!!  THANKS ALOT GIRLS!!!!  **NOTE**  Ironically, my dad used to call me "chihuahua"....hmmmmm...interesting!

Here are all the leaders with their "Awards"

Aren't we some TUFF looking leaders??  If you could see Kellie and all her "Steiney-ness" you KNOW just how tuff we really ARE!!

Jack and Becky Kemp were SO kind to let us their property in Tabiona.  It was breathtaking and we all had so much fun!

Here are our FABULOUS chefs!  Seriously ladies...the food was WAY too good for camping.  I'm sure I'm walking away from here a MUCH larger girl!  :)  Happier...but definitely larger!!

See, Angie even loved their cooking!  Here she is devouring some brownies.  **NOTE**I think she may kill me if she ever sees this!!

And this picture wins for CUTEST Couple!

This year at Girls Camp I was actually excited to go.  I ADORE our girls and have so much fun with all the leaders.  We have such a GREAT group of girls.  I look at them and realize just how they are ALL such spiritual giants.  I wish that I had even a fraction of the strength that they have at this age.  I wanted them to know that I truly admire them.  I wanted them to know that I hope they see themselves as the ROYALTY that they are.  I hope they know to NEVER settle for someone that isn't worthy of them.  I hope that they know just how truly AWESOME they really are!  And I hope that the spirit they felt at this years Girl's Camp will last and last, especially when times get tough.  I hope they know that they can always turn to the Savior and He will lift them.  He will take away their pain and heal them.  I hope that they know that every single leader there loves them like our own daughters and there isn't anything we would do for them.  We had an AMAZING testimony meeting.  And almost everyone got up.  It was definitely a tear jerker.  Some of these girls have had trials larger than life.  And they still manage to stay strong and focused on the ultimate goal.  They teach me every single day and I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to serve along side them.  Then there are the leaders...wow....I am in absolute AWE every time I think about it.  They are the most selfless women and give all that they have every single week.  I am one lucky girl!!  Maybe one day we'll get our little girl and I won't have to live vicariously through them.

How fun - thanks for sharing. And I love your thoughts at the end. The girls and leaders are just as lucky to have YOU. They need you! There is nothing better than girls camp...well, I guess I wouldn't go that far, but girls camp is fun and spiritually uplifting all at the same time. Glad you all had such a great time in the dirt! :)
