Bear Lake with the Crew

Every year around Labor Day we head up to Bear Lake with our best friends from Michigan. I think it's amazing that we've managed to stay so close over the years. We just LOVE these guys! It's always a hoot being around them and I don't ever feel like I need to do situps because I'm constantly laughing at one of them. Between Lance's crazy games of "What would do if you had a million dollars?....to Wes's whitty humor. Every person has something amazing to offer. I'm just so happy that we're all friends. We may not live any where near each other, but when we get together time flies, diets are OUT the window and we are left we the best memories. We love you guys and can't wait for our next big adventure!

Corbin and Andre had so much fun! Corbin just followed him around the whole weekend. It was so cute. And Andre was such a great sport about it all.

Kendyl and Callista are the cutest little girls! They loved that horse and played barbies and watched Cinderella over and over and over and.....

Mandy and I had a ball on the tube. I was CERTAIN that Cob would throw us off, but he was a good husband and kept us on. We had a time trying to hold on. We'd hit big waves and would literally be flying and holding on for dear life. Neither one of us wanted to land in the cold water! :)

Lance took Corbin and Andre. The look on Corbin's face was priceless! He had a perma-grin the whole time...except when Lance tried to freak them out when he stood up! It was hilarious!

Look at the height! Ian cracked us all up the whole time. Every time he got in the water he would mimic sounds from the Family Guy! We missed Natalie, but hopefully Ian will tell her how much fun we all had and she and Tatem will come next time.

Our little chunky monkey

I just LOVE this little boy! He's getting so big! He likes to sleep alot....obviously!
He's three months now. THREE months? Where on earth has the time gone? I took him last month for his 2 month check up. HELLLLLOOOOO can we say CHUNKY MONKEY? He had gained nearly 5 pounds! At the time he weighed in at 12.13 pounds. I checked Jack's old stats and he was exactly 1 pound heavier. Jack was also almost a pound heavier when he was born and didn't lose weight in the hospital! Not surprising huh!! Anyway, he's the same height and head size as Jack...so I may be making an appointment to get weekly massages he'll probably weigh as much as my neighors 18 month old any day now!! No complaints though, I LOVE chubby babies! Miss my chunkiest baby alot. But happy Corb and Jaders are here to fill my arms. Just love my boys! I never thought I'd be a mother of little boys, but couldn't be happier.

Like I said....he likes to sleep....

and so do we! We LOVE having him sleep on our chests. I don't want him to ever outgrow it, even though I know our days are numbered. We just moved him out of our room (reluctantly on my part) into his crib. It's been nice to have our special quiet time in the middle of the night feedings. I loved this time with Jack and am so glad that I got that special time with him. I find myself treasuring the 1 and 4 am feedings now. It's just a GREAT feeling! So you won't hear me complaining about the lack of sleep that I'm getting. I'm just grateful to be up with another little angel at night. I think Jack peeks in on us. Wish I could see him like he gets to see us. Maybe someday! :)

Amber comes in for a visit

I am so far behind on my blogging! There are LOTS of posts to come, but I'll space out the posts....see how well I'm doing so far!! Just kidding!

Amber came out for a LONG overdue visit at the end of August. It was so fun! We all want her to move out here. Corbin especially! He LOVES her to death! He had to run into the airport with my mom just to find her as soon as she landed because he just couldn't wait to play with her. He has designated his top bunk to "Aunt Ambie". She plays with him too! It's so cute to watch them together.





But the person I think she likes most is Coby. What started out a bit rocky...has turned into such a close relationship. Amber looks up to Coby as a big brother...I think she might even like him more than me....hmmmm....not sure how I feel about that! :) Just kidding! But he adores her too. He even said that she could even move in...if she'd only get her cute little butt out here! (**Disclaimer** "cute little butt" is from me....not Coby's words)


But the person I think would have really loved her to be here to play would have been Jackie! I can only imagine just how much fun they would have had playing. We'll all get our chance....Someday right Brittany?!! :) I am glad that she did get to know him. He loved her and I'm sure he's looking forward to playing with her....EVENTUALLY! :) So help me if that millennium doesn't hurry up....

Jack and Aunt Ambie

I am so glad that she got to meet little Jader Bug. They seem to really have bonded! Mostly, he like her to hold him....which I LOVED...and so did my shoulders! They got in a few naps together and I think she was in heaven! :) She's a great sister and cute little aunt. I'm sure happy my boys ...all of them just adore her! SO...get your cute little bum out here girl! :) We miss you

We had the opportunity to take a few of our friends and family (Brett and Cam, Lanae and Jared, Tiana and Jason and Wade) up to bear lake this summer. We were definitely out numbered with kids! I think there were 12 kids and 9 adults!! It was crazy but soooo fun! Time just flew as it usually does when you're having fun! We got to lounge around hanging out and well, let's just say that any hope I had of losing weight was replaced by fear of gaining a ton more! We can't wait til next time! And next time we'll plan it sooner so that Camille won't have to stress about Primary! :)

"SUPRISE"!!!

My cute sister in law, Whit planned a surpise party for me on my birthday! What a sweetheart! We have really gotten so close this last year and I am truly grateful. We've always been good friends, but I am happy to say that she is not only family, but she's also one of my best friends. We had our kidlings close in age and she's expecting at the beginning of November. I'm crossing my fingers that they are having a little boy! I just love ya whit! Thanks for all you do for me!

Bear Lake with the Riches

It seems like we've spent most of our summer up at Bear Lake. One of the weeks this summer we got the chance to hang out with all of Jim's family. They are such a neat family. I love them so much. They have always made me feel so welcomed and are so laid back, it's AWESOME! We always have a ball!

Happy Birthday Baby!

Well, it's official, Tiff is now as old as I am. HAPPY $!st BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART. I'm so greatful that you made your little sister invite me over for Easter dinner all those years ago. You make my life worth living and you've given me the three best presents anyone could ever give. I love you so much.

This last year has been the hardest I could ever imagine and I know I couldn't have made it through without you by my side. You are the reason I wake up in the morning and you are the reason I smile, you hot mama. I hope that you always know that I will do anything for you. I'm so looking forward to spending the next eternity with you. - Love you.

Little boys

SO...I don't know if I'm ready for little boys any more. Here is my latest conversation with Corbin:

Corbin: Mom...

Mom: Ya buddy

Corbin: Do I have bones in my wiener?

Mom: uh....what did you just say?

Corbin: DO I HAVE BONES IN MY WIENER?(just in case I didn't hear him)

Mom: Uh...No...

Corbin: YES, I do!

And then it was time to wash his hands! Fun times being the mom of little boys!

I love it! Eventually I'll post a picture of Jack and Corbin as it relates to this very topic. I just want to block out "certain" parts so that no sickos see. (They are out there you know).

Jader Bader Butter Bug

This is Jaden's sort of signature look. He sticks his lips out and raises his eyebrows. It's really cute!

While we were in Island Park Mandy was able to take a few pictures. She didn't have too much to work with because Coby wanted to leave, Jaden didn't want to sleep and the sun all didn't want to cooperate. But being the cute girl that she is, she worked with what she had! Thanks Mandy! But we are getting our announcements ready and wanted to poll you all to see which one we should use. I just love this little boy! I am so happy that he's finally here! He is DEFINITELY my fussiest and most spit-uppy baby yet. I don't remember Corb or Jackie really being like this. Jack definitely spit up this much. Once he ate...it stayed down! Jaden seems to want me to keep it for later...since he waits until he positioned so that he's directly in the middle of my bra. Then he spit up right in my bra...fun times let me tell ya! I seriously must smell like rotten milk all day long! I don't know, maybe he's "marking his territory" or something! :) But the thing I love most is that he's so snugly. He loves sleeping on mine and Coby's chest. Coby actually took him out of his swing where he was peacefully sleeping just so he could have Jades sleep on his chest. He loves it too!



Corbin is probably the cutest with him though. He loves kissing his cute little feet. It's so cute and makes us so happy that he loves his little brother so much already! We are truly blessed. If only we could have Jackie here, it would probably be impossible for our lives to be any better. We miss him so much but are happy to have another baby in arms.
